Leaving me way to high#1599

The last several flights Followong instructions I am at 5-8 thousand feet above the airport on a 9-10 mile final. this is way too high, causing full flaps, gear down and s turns alll the way in.

Had this on a couple of airports recently as well. Last time at Laoag Intl.

And again at Juneau PAJN coming in Front Anchorage PANC

5000 ft agl at 2 miles from threshold… nothing upsets me more after a very good flight than to have poor vectors and altitude assignments. this is the basic stuff, why are you working on all of the bells and whistles when you can’t get this right?

Also, it seems worse (leaving me too high more often) than it was 6 months ago…
