The controllers in BATC pronounce altimeter as “al-ti-MET-er”, which I believe is the British pronounciation, instead of the American-stlye “al-TIM-e-ter”. This probably seems like a trivial issue, but it’s very noticable to my ears since altimeter settings are given out so frequently during flight.
