Clearance delivery#1685

Have the clearance controller specify which runway should be expected when recieving a inital ifr clearance. I recieve the runway when i use a cpdlc system in beyond atc, so why can’t the runway expected be included during vocal clearances? Most of the time, I only find out my runway for departure when recieving the first taxi instruction.

Most of the time the departure runway in use is in the ATIS

That’s how it’s done in the US, the runway is not part of the clearance. You can have this information with ATIS. If you want to “cheat”, it will show the runway in the colored boxes in the UI
