Hello BeyondATC team,
First of all, thank you for the work you are doing. I really enjoy using BeyondATC and I think it adds a lot to the simulation experience.
I would like to suggest a feature that could improve preflight planning.
At the moment, after I create my flight plan in SimBrief, I usually position the aircraft according to that plan, including the gate and expected runway setup. However, when I start using BeyondATC, the assigned runway can sometimes be completely different from what I planned for. This can create a mismatch in preflight preparation and make the setup less efficient.
It would be very helpful if there were a way to check runway use and ATIS-related information before starting from the cockpit. For example, you could add a planning tool either in the program itself or on the website where users can see likely active runways, departure flow, and ATIS-based airport configuration before the flight begins.
That way, we could plan our gate, SID, and general cockp
What if the wind changes? It happens in real live all the time.

Thank you for the suggestion - we would not have a technical way of showing you this data before the flight. Additionally, we have always taken the stance that we use in sim conditions to adapt as needed - runway changes are non un common and planning for a new runway is a normal procedure in aviation. This can be based on a number of conditions, weather, airport ops, time, traffic etc and the pilot is expected to adjust to the new runway as needed when using ATC.
