Hi, thanks for all the work, I really appreciate your product.
However, one of the latest updates that apparently introduced regional accents to local model, kills the fun for me while flying around Poland, as I usually do. Being polish myself, and having listened to real polish ATC, I can say that it has nothing to do with how we speak english here. Instead, the “accent” sounds as if the ATC has suffered a stroke or got heavily drunk. To be honest, even though I’m aware that it is not intentional, it’s actually a bit offensive. Not to mention that it totally messes up the phonetic alphabet (for example: A is sometimes read as “aaargh”, V as “vicky”, G as “ghhf”, W as “wick”, etc.). As expected, that makes local voices pretty much useless - especially taxi instructions or some parts of ATIS become utterly unintelligible.
Therefore I suggest an option to disable regional accents for local voices and proceed with standard british or international english pronounciation. I’ve seen similar requests to this one, posted about 2 years ago, but with no response, and local voices weren’t even a thing back then if I recall correctly.
Also, if such a workaround is already available, then please disregard my request, but I couldn’t find a way to change that behaviour. Changing “use basic international accents” option doesn’t seem to make any difference for me. If I’m missing something in settings, then an advice would be much appreciated.

Hi - thanks for the suggestion - the local model is still a work in progress and by no means is done, apologies for the issue with accents here, it’s by no means international. We don’t have a plan to disable accents on the local voice model and would rather keep improving the accents as time goes on.
