It would be nice to have airports that have dynamic lighting. What this means is there is functional taxiway aiding systems that work in the simulator.
Follow the Greens = is a taxiway system that de-congests the communication between the pilot and the controller. This system illuminated a set of green lights in the taxiway centre line in front of the aircraft, this directs the plane to it’s gate.
Holding positions = These are lit up red to prevent aircraft from passing. Once permission is granted they either turn yellow or green.
Runway threshold = These are lit up red if landing clearance in not permitted. They change to green if an aircraft can land.
Why do we need these systems? Well it would greatly immersify the experience of using BeyonATC. It’s a big task to achieve but it’s one I would personally like to see, and offer to help implement. Similar to GSX profiles. Having scenery developers have the ability to make a profile would be ideal, or a community built profile of none are available.
