It would be ideal to have a system that allows you to pre-select an airport gate, or multiple based on your choice.
Why is this important? Well operating any aircraft comes with efficiency, and the last thing I want is to have to stop mid-taxi to double check if my gate is accessible, can fit my aircraft, and realistic.
So having a feature that uses the generated airport map to select a gate would be ideal. It would save a lot of time and stress and overall increase the immersion.
But what if I’m flying a large aircraft like the A388, B748, A124, A225, B77W, A35K, A346 or anything with a large wingspan? Well it would also be ideal to deselect certain taxiways which are unfit for your aircraft. This would prevent BATC taking you done the wrong route.
