Heathrow (EGLL) Arrivals – Realistic Radar Vectoring

Currently, BeyondATC tends to clear aircraft directly to the final waypoint of the STAR before issuing clearance for the selected runway’s approach.

In reality, arrivals into Heathrow are typically given radar vectors by ATC after leaving the arrival holding fix (such as BNN, LAM, BIG or OCK). Controllers issue headings, altitude and speed instructions to sequence aircraft onto the final approach course and establish them on the ILS.

It would be great if BeyondATC could replicate this by providing realistic radar vectoring, including downwind, base and final approach instructions, rather than simply directing aircraft from the STAR onto the approach.

This would significantly improve the realism of arrivals into Heathrow and better reflect real-world ATC procedures.
