Will BeyondATC become available in the near future for X-Plane on windows/mac?

No. Because XPlane 11/12 only has around 4 customers in total.

Oh well thats now 5 customers including me !

If they don’t release a product for X-Plane (either 11 or 12), then that’s an unfortunate bias in the flight sim community.

Been using MSFS for years now and finally gave X-Plane 12 a try with the same advantages I give MSFS (like payware planes). I absolutely love it. I really hope BATC gets a X-Plane version in the future, been using BATC for months.

I also switched from MSFS to X-Plane 12 so hope they will reconsider a x-plane version.

Yes X-Plane 12 definitely needs BATC i really hope they will make it compatible with XP ASAP this would be amazing

I bought x-plane during the time that 2024 was a pile of…. ie before SU4 and am loving it tbh. Would love to see BATC available and given the departure of Phil Spencer, who knows what will happen to MSFS. I get it’s different but *assume that’s an API thing - the core logic should stand as-is. Easy for me to say :-)

The X-Plane community represents approximately 10–15% of the active flight simulation market, while Microsoft Flight Simulator (MSFS) accounts for over 70–80%. This is why most developers and companies prioritize MSFS it offers a significantly larger customer base and greater commercial potential.

That said, X-Plane community is still substantial. MSFS has officially surpassed 15 million players, while X-Plane is estimated to have around 1 to 1.5 million users across X-Plane 11 and 12. Although X-Plane has a smaller market share, a community of over one million users is still a significant market. I believe devlopers should give fare chnace to X-Plane users as well.
