Sometimes when making a wrong transmission (wrong freq) or if changing one’s mind, ATC will rightfully as to say again or ask for clarification. In these cases being able to tell ATC to disregard the transmission would be nice. Now it just said “do not understand” when I tell ATC to “disregard” a previous radio call I made

Sometimes in the middle of a request or response, I lose my train of thought because I’m also fiddling with the aircraft, and want to give up and try again once I compose myself. Doesn’t seem to be any keywords that I’ve found that can make BATC disregard whatever I said in the same PTT. I’ve tried ending with “Actually I’ll get back to you in a second”, “disregard, standby”, things like that, but BATC still finds something to parse out of the rest of my speech before that and responds as if I made a request or readback. Are there any keywords to disregard that I can throw in mid-sentence, and if not, can some be added?

also when requsting a change and realize that is not what you want to do.

I struggled with this as well. It would be able to say “unable” and ATC will ignore your previous request.

We’ve added the ability to ‘cancel’ requests for example if you incorrectly ask for an altitude change. It’s get’s a bit difficult for all transmissions due to our state and logic engine. Something to consider for the future.
